Changing saved searches

Existing searches can be edited in order to reuse or modify certain criteria.

To modify a saved search:

  1. In the document list, select the saved search that you want to modify.
  2. On the File menu, select Open. The saved search’s criteria appear in a new tab in the document list pane similar to the following figure. The search criteria also appear in the Document Search pane.

  1. To include individual criteria, select or clear checkboxes in the Include column in the search.
  2. To display the number of documents that will be found with the selected criteria, click the Find Count button on the toolbar.
  3. To run the search, click the Find button on the toolbar The results are shown in a new tab in the document list pane.
  4. Repeat steps 3 through 5 to obtain the results you want.
