About major revision numbers

When a document is released with the Release command, a new major revision number is assigned to the document automatically. By default, the minor revisions are not visible in the list on the Versions tab.

ProjectForce offers several revision numbering schemes from which to choose:

Civil: 0.1 - 0.2A - A.1 - A.2B - B.1...

Engineering: A.1 - A.2 - A - B.1 -B.2 - B - C.1...

The following table lists possible revision numbers based on the Engineering numbering scheme and when they could be assigned.
