Understanding installation

ProjectForcemay be distributed as either a full installation, or as a patch for existing installations, depending of the content of the current release. In all instances you should read the release notes that are included on the distribution disc. The release notes contain additional instructions for installation as well as what is included in the new release.

Note    The instructions included in the following topics assume that an existing SharePoint server and SQL Server will be used. Instructions for installing those applications are not included. Refer instead to the application’s documentation.
