Specifying the license server

The ProjectForce application server must communicate with the BlueCielo License Server service to claim and release licenses. If the service is installed on the ProjectForce application server, no special configuration is necessary. But if the service is installed on a separate server, you must specify the name of the computer where the service is running.

To specify the license server:

  1. In ProjectForce running on a computer where the BlueCielo Administrator has been installed, click BlueCielo Administrator in the Navigation pane. The License Management node appears in the navigation view.
  1. Select the License Management node in the left pane. The current license manager settings and options appear in the right pane.
  2. On the License Manager page, click Specify Server. The Specify License Manager dialog box appears.
  3. Type values for the options described in the following table.
