Installing ProjectForce

The ProjectForce setup program includes components for both the server and client computers. Different options are presented for each computer type.

Before you begin

Be sure the computer on which you will install ProjectForce meets the system requirements described in Server system requirements or Client system requirements.

To install ProjectForce :

1. Open the ProjectForce Windows Installer Package. The Welcome page appears.
2. Click Next. The Location of the License server page appears.
3. Type the name of the computer where the BlueCielo License Server is running and the port number in the corresponding text boxes or accept the defaults. The values that you type and the location of the license server relative to the ProjectForce server can be configured at a later time as described in Specifying the license server.
4. Click Next. The End-User License Agreement page appears.
5. Read and accept the agreement and then click Next.
6. To install on a server computer, click Complete. To install on a client computer, click Typical. To install additional components on an existing installation, click Custom, select the components that you want to install and click Next.
7. The Ready to install BlueCielo ProjectForce 2011 page appears.
8. Click Install. The Installing BlueCielo ProjectForce 2011 page displays the progress while the components that you selected are installed. When the installation is complete, the Completed the BlueCielo ProjectForce 2011 Setup Wizard page appears.
9. Click Finish to close the wizard.
