Linking folders to Meridian Portal

Meridian Enterprise folders can be linked to Meridian Portal projects either:

  • The Meridian folder that you want to link must be of a folder type that has its Can be linked to M360 projects option enabled in the vault configuration. For information about your vault configuration, ask a system administrator.
  • The Meridian Portal project that you want to link must be a Project Repository type project. Packages Only type projects cannot be linked to Meridian Enterprise.
  • A Meridian folder may not be linked to Meridian Portal if the folder contains documents that have already been linked to a different Meridian Portal folder.

To link a Meridian folder to a Meridian Portal project:

  1. Right-click the folder that you want to link, point to Folder, and then click Link To Portal on the shortcut menu that appears. The M360 Projects dialog appears and lists the available projects.
  2. Select the project to which you want to link and click OK.The folder is linked to the project. A property page named M360 Project Repository is added to the folder’s property pages. The page shows information about the linked Meridian Portal project.

To link a Meridian folder to a Meridian Portal project:

  1. Right-click the folder that you want to link, point to Master/Project Copy, and then click Link To Portal on the shortcut menu that appears. The M360 Projects dialog appears and lists the available projects.
  2. Select the project to which you want to link and click OK. A confirmation dialog appears.
  3. Click Yes. The folder is linked. A property page named M360 Project Repository is added to the folder’s property pages. The page shows information about the linked Meridian Portal project.
