Disabling Local Workspace

Local Workspace is enabled by default for all new vaults. Under some circumstances, you may want to disable Local Workspace and use AMFS instead.

Warning    THIS IS A DEPRECATED FEATURE

To disable Local Workspace:

1. In Administrator, click EDM Server in the left pane. The list of active vaults appears in the right pane.
2. Select the vault in the right pane for which you want to disable Local Workspace.
3. On the Action menu and select Properties. The vault’s Properties dialog box appears.
4. Disable Force clients to access documents from Local Workspace.
5. Click OK.
