Viewing a collection

Collections appear in the Navigation views list.

Note    Collections created in a different time zone and based on search criteria that include a literal date comparison may show unexpected results. This is because of the difference in time zones between where the collection was created and where it is viewed. Date comparisons that use variables like %CURRENTDATE% are not affected.

To view a collection:

• In the view list, click the click the name of the collection that you want to view. The collection contents appear in the navigation view pane.

  Note    When the collection is configured as described in Configuring a dynamic collection and the Allow user to edit the condition and value option and the Make this query available to Web Access users option are enabled, you might see different results in the Meridian Web Client than in PowerUser when you initially view this collection. This is because it is assumed that you will edit the search criteria first before running the search. Criteria other than the properties and name (for example, folder and object type filters) are ignored when the collection is first shown.

To view a collection:

• In the context bar, click the view button and then click the name of the collection that you want to view. The collection contents appear in the Navigation view pane.

Or

• On the View menu, point to Change View, and click the name of the collection that you want to view. The collection contents appear in the Navigation view pane.

Tip    Collection views can be filtered and manipulated like other Navigation views as described in Working with Navigation views.
