Documentation improvements
Besides being updated with the new features and bug fixes in Meridian Enterprise and overall documentation quality improvements, the following changes have been made to the Meridian Enterprise documentation in this release.
- The Meridian Web Client has been greatly improved and is now nearly equivalent to the PowerUser client. To make it easier to find information about the Meridian Web Client:
- Topics that describe how to perform tasks with the Meridian Web Client have been integrated into other chapters of the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise User's Guide.
- Instructions throughout the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise User's Guide for tasks that can be completed with either the Meridian Web Client or the PowerUser client are now indicated with these icons
respectively.
- The Meridian modules are now more integrated and perform more critical roles in the Meridian Enterprise suite. Customizing Meridian often integrates multiple products. Therefore, the VBScript API Reference appendices in the following documents have been moved to the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise VBScript API Reference Guide so that all VBScript reference information is now in that document:
- BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Asset Management Module Administrator’s Guide
- BlueCieloMeridian Enterprise Advanced Project Workflow Module Administrator’s Guide
- BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Server Administrator's Guide
- Likewise, use of the Meridian modules is more prevalent than ever. To consolidate the end-user documentation, the topics in the following guides have been integrated into the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise User's Guide and those guides have been discontinued:
- BlueCielo Meridian Advanced Project Workflow User's Guide
- BlueCielo Meridian FDA Module User's Guide
- BlueCielo Meridian Global Collaboration Framework User’s Guide
- BlueCielo Publisher User’s Guide
- To simplify the documentation set even further, the following release notes documents have been combined into this document and those documents have been discontinued. This document is now the only release notes document for the Meridian Enterprise suite except for BlueCielo Project Portal.
