You can apply custom pages to folder types that prompt users for input when new folders are created (wizard pages) and that display custom properties (property pages) applied to the folder types. The properties used by a folder type can be inherited by the documents in the folders created from the folder type.
Before you begin
The custom pages that you want to apply to a folder type must already exist in the vault configuration. For more information on creating custom pages, see Creating a new property page.
To apply a custom page to a folder type:

Note Custom properties that are used in the Field-Path definition should not appear on custom pages applied to folder types. The properties are read-only when the Field-Path definition is calculated during the creation of folders.
