CAD application support improvements
The following improvements have been made to the CAD application support:
- Support has been added for the following CAD application versions:
- Solidworks 2011 and 2012 (not yet supported by AutoVue)
- AutoCAD 2012 family
- AutoCAD Civil 3D versions 2011 and 2012 both 32-bit and 64-bit
- Autodesk Revit 2012
- In some cases, the menus in AutoCAD 2010 would disappear when loading.
- When opening an AutoCAD drawing, some title block properties were not updated correctly.
- Support has been added to manage Autodesk Revit model hierarchies and management of references created in the Autodesk Revit model. This excludes references to point clouds.
- Support has been added for Revit worksharing.
- Support for AutoCAD P&ID project files and their parts has been improved.
- The BlueCielo panel of the ribbon in AutoCAD has been improved.
- Attempting to synchronize references for Autodesk Inventor drawing files would fail in Teamwork.
- Commands in the AutoCAD, Inventor, Microstation, and Solidworks links are now shown in a BlueCielo panel in the ribbon.
- Using a registry key, it is now possible to control checking of mapped property values that have been set to empty or set to null. If set to empty, the corresponding document property is also emptied.
- A registry key has been added to control when titleblock properties are updated. The possibilities for updating titleblock properties can be set to:
- Auto update
- Disable update on open
- Disable update on save
- Disable update on open and save
- The Save Release command has been added to AutoCAD. Using this command will save the current document and if the document's next workflow step is a released state, it will automatically be routed to that state.
- Buttons have been added to the BlueCielo panel in Revit to handle referenced documents.
- Activation of the AutoCAD link on a 64-bit French system has been improved.
