CAD application support improvements

The support provided by Meridian Enterprise for a particular CAD application comprises three elements:

• Link components that load inside the CAD application to synchronize properties and external references and provide application-specific functionality, for example, BlueCielo ARX modules.
• File access components used by the Meridian client applications to synchronize properties and external references outside the CAD application, for example, Autodesk RealDWG.
• File viewing components used by the Meridian client applications to display files outside the CAD application, for example, Oracle AutoVue.

Some of these components are dependent on products provided by third party developers. BlueCielo makes commercially reasonable efforts to support new versions of CAD applications within 60 days of the release of the version to market. However, if dependent products are not yet available from the third-party developers, BlueCielo may either delay supporting a new version of a CAD application or it may release limited support for the version.

The following additions to our support for popular CAD applications have been made with the limitations noted:

• Autodesk Inventor 2013 SP1
• SolidWorks 2013
