Notifications and subscriptions

Notifications can be configured by a system administrator to automatically send messages to workflow participants when workflow, project copy, redline, and configurable events occur.

Subscriptions allow non-participating users to select items (documents or object tags) and choose from a list of events (for example, when a document is changed, deleted, or released from change) on which they want to be notified by email. The messages are automatically sent from an SMTP server. Authorized users can modify the subscriptions of other users (Web Access not supported).

Reminders can be configured by system administrator's to send scheduled messages based on navigation view queries.

The SendNotification method has been added to VBScript to allow custom notifications.
