Who should read this guide

This guide is written for programmers responsible for the development and maintenance of Meridian Enterprise custom interface extensions and clients. Readers should be familiar with, and have experience in:

• General computing concepts
• Microsoft VBScript and Visual Basic 6 or Visual Basic .NET
• Object-oriented, event-driven programming techniques
• Meridian Enterprise basic concepts of document storage, revision control, security, and workflow. Additional familiarity may be necessary with time and work area contexts, Local Workspace, and other concepts, depending on the project requirements.
