The Meridian Connection API includes a sample application named APITest that tests the DLL and demonstrates how to use the API from Visual Basic 6. The sample application is intended for use with the Mechanical demonstration vault available from BlueCielo ECM Solutions. The location of the vault needs to be set in the source code of the sample application.
Two changes need to be made to the configuration of the Mechanical vault to prepare it for using the sample application.
- Add a new advanced document workflow definition named TestADWF by accepting all default options.
- Modify the document type OfficeDocument to be a hybrid document type.
