Running a publishing job

Running a publishing job synchronizes the destination system with the source system immediately.

Note    If the source system contains many documents, we recommend you perform the first run of the publishing job outside of business hours. The publishing job could take a considerable amount time depending on the size of the source data.

To run a publishing job immediately:

  1. In BlueCielo Application Manager, select the publishing job name in the configuration tree. The job's control page appears. Most publishing job tasks can be performed from this page.
  2. Click the Execute Now hyperlink. The BlueCielo Publisher 2013 window appears and synchronization begins. For information about the contents of the window, see Monitoring a publishing job.

Notes

To schedule the publishing job to run automatically on a periodic basis, thereby keeping the repository up to date, see Scheduling a single publishing job.
