Disabling and enabling a publishing job

Disabling a publishing job prevents it from running but does not delete its configuration. Enabling a publishing job makes the job available for running again but does not start it immediately.

To disable or enable a publishing job:

1. In Enterprise Server Configurator, in the BC Publisher group, click JOBS. The Publish Jobs page appears and lists the existing publishing jobs.
2. Select the publishing job that you want to disable or enable and then in the toolbar, click Disable or Enable. The STATUS column indicates the new state of the publishing job.
