Understanding VBScript and Web Access

Not all VBScript functions are available to Web Access since the Web Access executables run as processes on the Meridian web server, not on the client computer:

• All VBScript functions that interact with the user (for example, WinMsgBox)
• All events for actions that execute on the client computer, like OpenInApplication
• Most of the methods of the Client object

A script that is not compatible with Web Access will not generate an error message, but the script will not work. Thoroughly test all VBScript configuration expressions and event procedures that might be invoked by Web Access.
