Customization improvements

The following improvements have been made to the Meridian Enterprise customization features:

• Custom VB extensions compiled with the 2009 libraries were compatible with Meridian Enterprise 2009 and higher but were not compatible with 2008a and lower. This has been fixed and extensions compiled with the 2010 libraries are compatible with all lower versions.
• The Meridian Enterprise .NET libraries are installed on client computers by default to simplify deployment of custom .NET extensions.
• New VBScript methods: CreateHybridPart, DeleteHybridPart, GetHybridPart, ImportHybridPart, SaveToFile, LoadFromFile, LoadFromTemplate and property HybridParts were added to the Document object to support conversion of documents to hybrid parts.
• The Document.LockLWS and Document.UnLockLWS methods now return string values.
• A new VBScript method named GetPropertyNames was added to the Vault object to retrieve the names of all properties in a given property set.
• New VBScript events, properties, and constants for customizing the Meridian Transmittal Management Module.
• The VBScript Batch.IsFirstInBatch property now ignores folders that are selected along with a batch of documents and the property is set for the first valid document in the batch.
• A new VBScript event DocGenericEvent_PrepareCommand, property Batch.ProcessAsBatch, and method Batch.AddDocuments were added to support programmatic building of batches of documents and processing batches by custom commands.
• A new VBScript function FindDocuments has been added for searching for documents from within VBScript.
• The functionality of the Client.ImportDetails property has been extended to wizard page property validation expressions.
• A new VBScript method Vault.RunShellCommand has been added to simplify executing command line programs.
• A new VBScript event AfterReplaceReleased has been added to allow for updating a document after a document that replaced it has been released from a workflow.
• A new VBScript method Document.SetModified has been added to change the internal Modified property.
• The VBScript property Document.MasterDocument.LockingProjectCopy was added in release 2009a.
• The VBScript event DocGenericEvent_PrepareCommand event now occurs after a title block is read during batch import by the Document Import Tool.
• The DocCADLink event procedures now occur in Remote mode.
