Required vault configuration

The vault will need to be created and configured before you can test the sample task extension. To prepare the vault, follow these steps:

Install the Task Server as described in the Meridian Enterprise Administrator’s Guide.
Copy the task extension (AMSampleTask.dll) to the Task Server computer.
Register the .DLL file with regsvr32.exe.
Create a new vault for testing or use an existing non-production vault.
Open the vault in Configurator and import the configuration file SetCustomerInfo.met. Among other things, this file will create a set of properties to hold the customer information:

Customer Name

Account Number

Address

City

Zip code

CustomerID: Holds the unique ID of the customer in the external database. This property is not shown in the user interface.
Select Customer: Temporarily holds the customer name selected by the user

Copy the sample customers database (customers.mdb) to the root of the Task Server C: drive.
