Work area template privileges

The following privileges establish the default privileges for each work area template from which work areas are made. These privileges can be overridden by the creator of a work area if that user has the Assign Roles privilege in the parent area where the work area is being created. For more information about work areas, see About work areas.

Work area template privileges
Privilege	Description
Assign To Work Area	Allows the user to assign documents to the work area.
Discard Document And Do Not Re-Assign	Allows the user to discard documents from the work area and not reassign them from the Main area to the work area.
Discard Document And Re-Assign	Allows the user to discard documents from the work area and to reassign them from the Main area to the work area.
Edit	Allows the user to edit work area properties, to create static saved searches in work areas, and update the My Search Results view in work areas.
Run Transition <Name> (<FromState> to <ToState>)	Allows the user to run the work area workflow transition. Each transition in a work area’s workflow is controlled by a separate privilege.
Release Document And Do Not Re-Assign	Allows the user to release documents to the Main area and not reassign the documents to the work area.
