Executing a publishing job

Executing a publishing job synchronizes the source vault with the destination repository.

Note    If the source vault contains many documents, we recommend you perform the first execution of the publishing job outside of business hours. The publishing job could take a considerable amount time depending on the size of the source vault.

  1. To run the job immediately, in BlueCielo Application Manager, select the publishing job name in the configuration tree. The job's control page appears. Most publishing job tasks can be performed from this page.
  2. Click the Run Now hyperlink. The BlueCielo Publisher 2012 window appears and synchronization begins. For information about the contents of the window, see Monitoring a publishing job.

Note    A publishing job will generate an error if licenses for any of its system links or rendering modules are unavailable.

To schedule the publishing job to run automatically on a periodic basis, thereby keeping the repository up to date, see Scheduling a single publishing job.
