Configuring the AMFS server

The AMFS Server (BlueCielo Filesystem service) manages file system access to documents in the Meridian Enterprise vaults. For each server you can configure:

• File filters to exclude undesirable files from the vaults
• Drive letters mapped to a vault path or work area
• Shares that expose mapped drive letters to network users

Tip    If Local Workspace is enabled for all vaults on the server, AMFS is not required and the service can be stopped and cleared to reduce server load.
