Pasting from the Clipboard

Pasting from the Clipboard creates copies of the Clipboard items (documents and folders) in the current folder.

The pasted items are different from the originals:

• New document numbers are assigned to documents
• Item names are appended with the text (Copy)
• The Status property of the items is set to the initial state of the life cycle
• Comments are not copied
• Subscriber notifications are not copied

To paste from the Clipboard in a document list:

1. In the navigation frame, select the folder into which you want to paste the Clipboard contents.
2. In the Documents view, in the Document section header, click Clipboard and select Copy from clipboard from the menu that appears. The document list refreshes to show the copied items.

To paste from the Clipboard in a folder property page:

1. Open the folder's property page as described in Viewing and editing folder properties.
2. In the Links section header, click Clipboard: Paste. The navigation frame and property page refresh to show the copied items.
