BlueCielo Kronodoc 2012 User's Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
Your personal properties determine how you appear to other users in Kronodoc, where you receive notifications, the groups you are a member of, and your logon credentials.
Note You cannot change your personal properties in systems that use LDAP or Active Directory; your personal information is not managed in Kronodoc.
To change your personal properties:
When changing an existing password, Kronodoc does some basic verification to ensure the quality of your password. The purpose of this is to ensure higher information security in your organization and to prevent possible attackers from guessing the most obvious of passwords.
The checks Kronodoc makes are statistical in nature and examine the password character distributions. If a password is weak, Kronodoc shows an error message and the password is not changed. This functionality does not check the old password. It only applies when passwords are changed or new ones created.
