BlueCielo Kronodoc 2012 Administrator's Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
Exporting property values creates an Excel spreadsheet that contains the property values of documents stored in Kronodoc. Which properties are exported are specified in a mapping template as described in Creating and editing mapping templates.
To export property values:
Note If you intend to edit the exported data and import it back into Kronodoc, only place documents on the Clipboard that reside in the same folder. The import (Mass Update) command only supports updating documents that reside in the same folder.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Mapping |
Select a mapping template from the list that specifies the properties to export. |
Filename |
Type a name for the Excel file that will be created. |
Export with files (ZIP) |
Exports the files that are attached to the documents for which properties are exported. The files are contained in a single archive (ZIP) file. If multiple files exist with the same name, the files are exported to sub-folders in the archive file that are named with the document's internal Kronodoc ID. |
Lock documents for editing |
Locks the documents for which properties are exported so that the properties cannot be changed until the documents are unlocked. |
Include properties table in format |
Select additional file formats in which to export the property file. The file will be included in the archive file that is created. Available only if Export with files (ZIP) is selected. |
Include file formats |
Select the file formats of the file attachments that you want included in the archive file. Available only if Export with files (ZIP) is selected. |
Note Your web browser will attempt to download the archive file to your computer. If your browser's security settings block the download, you might need to adjust the settings and retry this procedure.
