NEW  Downloading a transmittal

To view a transmittal sheet or edit the contents of a transmittal package, you must download it first.

To download a transmittal sheet:

1. Open the transmittal as described in NEW Viewing and editing a transmittal.
2. In the ribbon, in the Transmittal group, click Download sheet. The file downloads to your computer. Depending on your browser and its settings, you may be prompted for what you want to do with the file. Click Open to open the file in the application that is registered for the transmittal sheet's file type.

To download a transmittal package:

1. Open the transmittal as described in NEW Viewing and editing a transmittal.
2. In the ribbon, in the Transmittal group, click Download package. The file downloads to your computer. Depending on your browser and its settings, you may be prompted for what you want to do with the file. Click Open to open the file in the application that is registered for the file type of the transmittal package. The contents of a transmittal package are described in NEW About transmittals.
