About the Document Circulations add-on

The optional Kronodoc Document Circulations add-on helps project teams to efficiently distribute documents for approval and for commenting among project team members and to keep track of circulations.

The Document Circulations add-on provides two kinds of circulations:

• The Advanced Approval life cycle. This allows the user to specify a list of users who need to verify or approve a document before it can be approved and released. The roles of the users and the life cycle status they assign in the workflow of this process are shown in the following figure.

• Comment circulations allow the user to send a set of documents for comment to a list of users. The sending user may then follow up on the other users' comments.

The Document Circulations add-on promotes timely response to both kinds of circulations by analyzing the open circulations every morning and sending reminder email messages to the circulation participants who have not yet acted:

• Four days before the deadline of the circulation
• On the deadline date
• Every seven days after the deadline until all participants have acted
