Configuring user interface settings of others
User interface settings can be specified at the installation level to apply to all workspaces, at the workspace level, and at the user level. User interface settings can be configured by each user as described in the BlueCielo Kronodoc User's Guide. System administrators can view and edit the user interface settings of other users.
To configure the user interface settings for another user:
- In the Settings view, expand the name of the workspace in which you want to configure the settings and select User interface. A page listing the user interface settings that apply to all users in the workspace appears.
- Type the name of a system user in Get interface settings for user or click Find to search for a user name.
Note Only privileged users (in the workspace scope or super user in the installation scope) can search for user names.
- Click View settings. The page refreshes to show the settings for the selected user.
- Select or type options using the descriptions in Configuring installation-wide user interface settings.
- Click Save user interface. Your changes are applied and the Revert to the default user interface button appears. You can revert to settings defined at the installation level or that the workspace administrator has defined for the workspace by clicking the button.
