About the Kronomail add-on

Kronomail is a Kronodoc add-on that can be installed on the Kronodoc server. It can store email messages and attachments as documents and files in Kronodoc. Kronomail processes all email messages sent to the domain (@kronodoc.company.com) and generates Kronodoc documents from the email messages that match catch rules. The documents and files generated from email messages are otherwise the same as any other documents in Kronodoc.

A Kronodoc workspace administrator or a privileged user can define one or more email addresses for any folder in the tree structure of a workspace. Email messages sent to these addresses are stored as documents in the folders that correspond to the addresses. You can specify the destination folder where the email message is stored and the conditions for filtering email messages into folders through catch rules.

Users can store emails in Kronodoc by:

• Sending an email directly to the Kronomail email address (for example, helpdesk@company.com).
• Sending a carbon copy (CC) to the Kronomail email address while sending the original email to a different destination.
• Forwarding a received email to the Kronomail email address.
