Releasing a document in ImandrA

Use the Release command to check in and approve documents in one step. A new major revision will be created in the vault. The Release command is only valid for documents that you have already checked out and opened in an Office application.

Note    You must have Owner access level to release documents.

To release a document from within any Office application integrated with ImandrA:

  1. Click Release on the ImandrA menu or click the Release button .
  2. The CheckIn Wizard (Step 1 of 2) appears, similar to the following figure.

  1. Confirm or correct the document class and displayed property values.
  2. Click Next to proceed. The CheckIn Wizard (Step 2 of 2) page will appear, similar to the following figure.

  1. Confirm that the information shown is correct and click Finish. A new major revision is created in the vault. The document is closed in the Office application.
