Working with default values

On some pages of the properties wizard, data must be selected or entered for various options as shown in the following figure.

In order to complete this page quickly, you can save default values that will be entered automatically by the wizard the next time that you perform the same action.

To save a default value:

1. Select the value that you want to save and click the Save button . The value is saved as the default for that field.

To recall a saved value:

1. Click the Apply button next to the field where you want to recall its default value. The value is applied to that field. This can be useful if you modify a value and then decide to use the default value.

To clear the default values:

1. Click the Clear button . No default value will be entered for the field the next time that you perform the same action.

Note    By default, each group of buttons works for all fields that appear below the buttons until the next group of buttons. For example, the button near Language also work for Beginning and Ending. The buttons near Handled by also work for Signed by.
