Using the ImandrA Clipboard

You can select the documents to include in a transmittal from an ImandrA document list, for example, the results of a search. However, selecting documents from a variety of sources can be difficult unless you use the ImandrA Clipboard. An easier way is to use the ImandrA Clipboard to add them to the Transmittal Manager.

The ImandrA Clipboard has the following advantages:

To add documents to the ImandrA Clipboard:

  1. In ImandrA Desktop, make the ImandrA Clipboard visible.
  2. Drag one or more documents from the source location and drop them on the ImandrA Clipboard window.
  3. Repeat steps 1 to 2 for each source location from which you want to select documents.

To execute a command on documents on the ImandrA Clipboard:

  1. Select one or more documents on the ImandrA Clipboard.

Tip    Press Ctrl + A to select all of the documents on the ImandrA Clipboard. Hold down the Ctrl key and click to select or deselect random documents. Hold down the Shift key and click to select a range of documents.
  2. Right-click any selected document to show the shortcut menu.
  3. Select the desired command. The command is executed on all of the selected documents.

To empty the ImandrA Clipboard:

  1. Click the Clear button to empty all documents. Click the Clear Selection button to empty only the selected documents.

Note    Only documents from the same library can be placed on the ImandrA Clipboard. Therefore, if one or more documents from a particular library is already on the ImandrA Clipboard, documents from another library cannot be added without first emptying the ImandrA Clipboard.

Note    Only one revision of a document can be placed on the ImandrA Clipboard at any one time.
