Depending on the options that were selected when a transmittal was sent as described in Sending a transmittal, it might require follow-up processing to track what actions have been taken by the transmittal's recipient.
The possible processing includes:
To process a transmittal:
icon. The Sent items view appears and lists the transmittals that have been sent but that need to be processed.If the Document status dialog appears:

Click the calendar button and select the date that the value selected for State became effective. |

Select a value from the list that best represents the current state of the document. |
To enter your remarks directly in the dialog, select Note and type your remarks in the text box.
To attach remarks that reside in a file elsewhere, select Attach document, click Browse, select the file that contains the remarks that you want to attach, and click Open. The selected file name appears in Filename.
If the Receive notification dialog appears:
