AutoCAD family applications

The following table lists the Autodesk AutoCAD family application versions that are supported by specific application links in this release of BlueCielo ImandrA.

Depending on the application version, the links provide the following functionality:

File Open/Save/Save As dialog integration for applications that use standard Windows file dialogs. Non-standard dialogs are supported for some applications.
Automatic external reference (X-Ref) management and resolution.
File property and title block data exchange with the ImandrA database and ImandrA property editing.
File property and title block data exchange with the ImandrA database from within the ImandrA desktop client. The same actions performed from within the applications is supported for some applications.
Automatic management of hybrid documents, where applicable.
Viewing of the application’s file formats in ImandrA is provided by the BlueCielo viewer, a list of supported file formats for which can be found in BlueCielo viewer.
Additional functionality may be available depending on the application. Some limitations may apply. Refer to the following table.

Applications are tested extensively with each release of ImandrA. Typically, BlueCielo supports the latest three major versions of applications. BlueCielo makes a commercially reasonable effort to support new versions of AutoCAD within 60 days of the version’s release to market.

Notes

AutoCAD LT does not support the Application Runtime Extension (ARX) technology upon which ImandrA AutoCAD link is based. Therefore, none of the AutoCAD link functionality normally available from within AutoCAD is supported for AutoCAD LT. However, link functionality (for example, property synchronization) executed from within the ImandrA client does work with AutoCAD LT files.
