Creating filename elements

You create filename elements to concatenate together to form standard filenames for exported documents.

To create filename elements:

  1. Open the Export Format Designer as described in About the Export Format Designer. It opens with a new unsaved export format definition loaded.
  2. To configure an existing export format definition, click the Open Definition button , select the definition file that you want to edit, and click Open.
  3. Select ExportInfoData in the left pane. The definition’s properties appear in the right pane.
  4. For the ValueDefinition option, click the button to display the Collection Editor to add or remove filename elements. The Collection Editor opens, listing the existing filename elements, if any.
  5. Click Add to create a new filename element. A new filename element is added to the Members list.
