To create simple, required string properties that you can apply to a folder template, create IntelliProperties in the folder template definition as described in Creating an IntelliProperty definition. To create more advanced properties, use the Properties tab. On that tab, you can create database properties, fixed list properties, number properties and property relationships.
Note You many not use both properties defined on the Properties tab and IntelliProperties. If you create any folder properties on the Properties tab, no IntelliProperties may be used.
To create a property definition:

The default value of the property. The use the current date, enter #Date.Now#. |

The internal ID of the property. The ID property must be unique and is used to identify the property when defining property relationships and folder structure templates. |

The name of the property as it will appear to users. |

Length |
The maximum length of the property in characters. Enter 0 for unlimited length. |

Type |
Select from the list of available options to specify attributes of the property. |

The class name of the selected value provider. Read-only. |
