Understanding the system requirements

Meridian GCF/SharePoint requires the following hardware and software resources:

SharePoint

• Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or SharePoint 2010 Foundation or higher with the latest service pack
• Existing site collection. The root site and all sub-sites and their document libraries can be involved in collaboration.
• A dedicated user account with Full Control permission level in SharePoint. This account will be used by the import and export processors.

SQL Server

• SQL Server 2005 or higher. SQL Server Compact Edition is also acceptable.

Meridian Enterprise

• As required for the installed version of BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise. For more information, see the of BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide. This version of Meridian GCF/SharePoint is supported by the corresponding Meridian Enterprise versions listed in BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Supported Software.
• Supported version of Meridian Global Collaboration Framework installed.

Web server

• As required for the installed version of BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise. For more information, see the of BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide.
• Existing website upon which to install the web service
