Appendix D: Known problems

Following are known problems in this release of GCF/SharePoint:

• SharePoint folders are not supported.

• The error The content type is not a valid content type for this document library will occur during document import to SharePoint if a content type is not available to which the document type has been mapped. The documents will not be imported.
• The error The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002) will occur if a new document was created in a SharePoint library and the user clicked the Yes button when prompted with the message Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited? and the document is not checked-in. The GCF export processor will not find the document because the processor is running under a different account and export of the document will fail.
• Due to a restriction in the standard briefcase (.brc) format, DateTime type properties are not transferred properly to or from SharePoint.
• Meridian Enterprise hybrid documents are not supported.
