HTTP transfer does not work on export from Meridian Enterprise

To troubleshoot this problem, you can use a tool provided with GCF/SharePoint to bypass the Meridian Enterprise export processor. This allows you to confirm that file transfer is successful. Otherwise, you must modify a document in Meridian Enterprise, run the export processor, and check the log files for errors.

To run the tool:

  1. On the computer running the SharePoint GCF processors, start the test application GCFRemoteAccessTestApp.exe provided in the SharePoint\Troubleshooting folder of the distribution package.
  2. Click Browse, select any file, and click Test Upload. The file will be uploaded to a subfolder of the folder specified for the UploadFolder option described in Installing the GCF Remote Access Web Service. The subfolder name will be the same as the GCF share name.

If the upload fails, the user account might not have the correct permissions or registry settings on the Meridian Enterprise server might be incorrect.
