About installing components on the web server

The GCF Remote Access Web Service performs the following functions:

• Retrieves document status from Project Portal

• Executes GCF commands on documents owned by Project Portal: Claim Ownership and Get Latest Version.

• Clears the InTransit property during transfers from Project Portal.
