About the system architecture

The Meridian Global Collaboration Framework (GCF) provides the automated exchange of documents and metadata between Meridian Enterprise vaults at distinct sites. Data is exchanged over the Internet. The exchange of metadata and document content uses the briefcase technology of Meridian Enterprise. The Global Collaboration Framework provides functionality to automate and manage the briefcase exchange process.
