Who should read this guide

This guide is written for the persons that are responsible for the installation and monitoring of the Global Collaboration Framework, file transfer activities, and possibly customization of the Global Collaboration Framework. In some organizations, this might be two or more persons: a reseller or an IT professional who installs the software, a Meridian Enterprise system administrator who monitors file transfer and ownership, and a programmer who performs customization. In other organizations, this might be all the same person. Readers should be familiar with, and have experience in:

• General computing concepts
• Microsoft Windows® workstation operating system administration
• Microsoft Windows networks
• Microsoft VBScript or Visual Basic programming, if customization is required.
