Viewing collaboration status

After you have enlisted a remote vault for a document, you can view the status of the copy at that site.

Note    The status is updated in near real-time and is not dependent on the scheduled transfers, as are other GCF operations.

To view the collaboration status:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise PowerUser, select the document for which you want to view the status.
  2. Click the Collaboration Status tab. The Collaboration Status property page appears. The list on this property page shows all of the sites that have been enlisted for the selected document and the status of the copies at each site. The columns shown on the Collaboration Status page are described in the following table.
Collaboration Status options
Option Description

Site

The sites that share the selected document. The site name is shown in different colors depending on its collaboration status:

Bold: The site that currently has ownership of the document.

Red: The current site.

Green: The document does not exist at the owning site. The most likely cause is that the document has been deleted.

Revision

The revision number of the selected document at each site, which can be different.

Status

The workflow status of the selected document at each site. This information is refreshed whenever a document is selected. You can also refresh it by pressing F5.

Email

The email address of the to-do person (if any) in the workflow of the document at each site. This can be useful if you need to contact them to gain ownership of the document.

Remarks

System messages about the last GCF operation.
