Enlisting a GCF/SharePoint site

Enlisting a GCF/SharePoint site allows you to collaborate with a SharePoint site collection.

Before you begin

If the document that you want to enlist is part of an assembly, first be sure that all other parts of the assembly are also in a released workflow state. Otherwise, the part will not be able to be released at the remote site.

To enlist a GCF/SharePoint location:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise PowerUser, select the document for which you want to enlist the GCF/SharePoint location.
  2. Click the Collaboration Status tab. The Collaboration Status property page appears, showing the other sites that are currently enlisted.
  3. Click the Enlist GCF Vault button. The Enlist GCF Vault dialog box appears.
  4. Click the Location button. The Select Location dialog box appears.

Note    The SharePoint sites that are available are only those that have been specified by a system administrator.

  1. Select the GCF/SharePoint location that you want to enlist and click OK. The location is added to the Site list in the Collaboration Status property page.
