What's new in Meridian Global Collaboration Framework 2012 SP3

The following features were added:

• Meridian Enterprise folder types and custom folder properties can now be mapped and replicated to Meridian Project Portal.
• The Meridian Project Portal folder life cycles, workflow states, and access profiles that are applied to replicated documents can now be defined in Meridian Enterprise by mapping them to custom properties.
• The Windows Installer packages for the GCF processors now support silent setup and separate packages are provided for the vault extensions that also support silent setup.
• Cross-site workflow, document deletion, and workflow revocation are now supported by scripting in the Meridian Enterprise Web Client .

The following features were changed:

• The Meridian Project Portal Description property is now replicated also.
• The organization of the distribution package folder structure was changed slightly.

• For easier troubleshooting, new error log files are now created. Each processor (export, transfer, import) creates its own error log file located in the same folder as the regular log file. The file names are: ErrExport_<Year>_<Month>.txt, ErrTransfer_<Year>_<Month>.txt, ErrImport_<Year>_<Month>.txt

• New module version numbering has been introduced. Beginning with this service pack, all GCF modules have the same version numbers, for example, 5.3.6 where:

  • 5 = Major version (GCF 2012)

  • 3 = Service pack number

  • 6 = Build number

• When configured with a star topology in the design house scenario as described in the BlueCielo Meridian Global Collaboration Framework Administrator's Guide, the Delete and Revoke commands did not work at the peripheral sites and has been fixed.
• The Meridian GCF/SharePoint product has been discontinued. We recommend BlueCielo Publisher with the SharePoint system link or the BlueCielo Web Part for SharePoint as replacements.
