Release 2008 Service Pack 2

This service pack was designed to be applied to the following versions of the FDA Module:

• FDA Module 2007A
• FDA Module 2008

The following issues were resolved in FDA Module 2008 Service Pack 2:

• Performance of rendering large page count files (Doc, PDF’s, and so on) was improved.
• Audit trail information that contained an apostrophe in any string was not saved to the audit trail tables.
• Audit trail dates were not saved correctly to Oracle audit trail tables if the format was not US (MM/DD/YYYY).
• Audit trail was inconsistent between the source and rendered content.
• Error handling of failed renditions was improved.
• Renditions would fail on slower networks or over a WAN.
• When assigning a document to a work area and the CAD external reference rules were set to Warn, references were still automatically assigned.
• If a source document had a file extension longer than 3 characters, the system would either not render the document or name it incorrectly in the vault.
• Office 2007 was supported and tested.
• Login performance was improved.
