Working with projects

Project folders are made in the Meridian Enterprise source vault using the system's Managed Change or Meridian Advanced Project Workflow Module features. Project folders can contain the working copies of master documents that reside elsewhere in the vault. Projects can have workflows that match the business processes of the project owner. The project copies are typically revised as part of a project and the copies will either supersede or be merged with the master documents when the project has completed.

In Meridian Explorer, projects are shown with a special icon . Projects can have their own custom properties such as Project Number or Manager. You can work with projects in Meridian Explorer in many of the same ways that you can with documents. That is, with the same search methods, view pages, and property pages as documents or tags.
