Adding and removing items from a package
You may add items to an existing package or to a new package that you create. You may remove items from a package until it has been sent.
Note
- Although it is possible to add tags to a package, they are not exported and only documents are supported.
- If a package is linked to a project:
- The publishing job that is assigned to the package might be configured to only allow items in the project to be added to the package. You can see the name of the linked project on the Related Project page of the package properties.
- If you add a master document to the project when a project copy already exists, the project copy will be added to the package instead.
- The publishing job that is assigned to the package might be configured by a system administrator to only allow items to be added to the package that can be locked to the package when it is sent to the destination system. That is, only documents that are not already locked.
