Linking a package to a project

By default, packages can contain documents and tags from anywhere in the repository. Linking a package to a specific project, dedicates the package to that project and only items from that project can be added to the package. This can be useful for security reasons, such as to restrict the documents that project team members can include in packages.

Note

To link a package to a project:

  1. Create an empty package as described in Creating a package.
  2. In the Collections view, right-click the name of the package and then click Edit on the context menu that appears. The EDIT dialog box appears.
  3. On the Related Project page, select a project from the list.
  4. Click OK.
